The KBZ Zpro On-Site Approach

Coordination

KBZ installers are located regionally for quicker response in deploying any TANDBERG solution, anywhere in the USA. Before and during the installation process Zpro project managers coordinate with your on-site project contact on all details, including proper site survey/SOW documents, scheduling and coordination with the TANDBERG Partner (if there are other integrated technologies being provided).

Staging

Systems are unpacked, assembled, rack-mounted and powered. If any suspect systems are identified, immediate replacement will be expedited so that the installation process can continue with the replacement, when available. LAN connections are also made to facilitate the next step.

Configuration

Zpro staff establish a complete definition of LAN settings such as IP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, LDAP, Traversal, etc., then configuration of all necessary advanced videoconferencing parameters to make the installation seamlessly functional in your environment.

Testing

Zpro creates extensive detailed test plans that evaluate every aspect of the existing installed configuration. Some call test scenarios that may not be needed at the time of installation (but which may be required in the future) are evaluated and documented as well.

For example, your enterprise H.323 and/or ISDN video network today may be headed toward 3G, SIP and global integration. The Zpro approach ensures you have a solution that stands today, and is prepared for the future. The test plan is furnished upon installation completion and contains relevant notes about the project ‘As-Built,’ serial numbers of systems, software versions and any caveats/limitations. If the KBZ ZPro engineer discovers any software-related issue, KBZ will escalate the issue to TANDBERG by opening a ticket with Tandberg TAC in your name and provide you the tracking information.

Training

ZPro engineers perform a step-by-step review of all system(s) settings and advanced configurations. Then with the client they demonstrate successful calls within enterprise (and out,  if applicable), utilizing all aspects of each installed system independently, then of the entire solution in unison as well. Upon completion, all settings that can be edited by the system’s admin are viewed and discussed. Forum is open for Q&A throughout.

Sign Off
