Technical Training Course (TAP)

Now InfoComm approved for 12 RU credits toward CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I certification

Topics: Endpoints, Networks, Protocols & Infrastructure

A three-day course was developed to familiarize Authorized Partner technicians with the C-Series of TANDBERG codecs, specifically the C40, and with TANDBERG infrastructure products. The course will address the set-up and troubleshooting of C40 system and the review and application of TAA infrastructure products.

The course will combine lecture and hands-on labs and will be divided into two sections:

1. Endpoints, Networks and Protocols, presented on days 1 and 2

  • Instructor will present the features and benefits of the components, and provide students with the skills necessary to install TANDBERG endpoints.

2. Infrastructure, presented on day 3

  • Objective is to discuss the essential TANDBERG infrastructure products, and for students to understand where the technology fits into the development of a total visual communications system solution.

Audience: Mandatory, 2 technicians from each dealer
Registration Price: $750 list (NOTE: Existing dealers please contact your KBZ representative for additional information)
Duration: 3 days
Delivery: On location, hands-on class
Certificate of Completion: Awarded upon passing test on day 3
Course Requirements: PC laptop in good working order, with wireless card and administrator rights

REMINDER: Morning classes start at 8:30 NOT 9:00.

Students must have a working laptop with telnet setup, plus a working wireless card. Please take note of these points to avoid class delays.
